When the one PRETTY TRUE HOLE-Y DAY falls on a weekend we do the parade a little bit totally different. Meet at the TRANSAMERICA PYRAMID (the pointy bldg) @ COLUMBUS & WASHINGTON, at NOON.

After costume check and dues collection follow the pudgey bald white guy with the BIG DRUM up COLUMBUS AVE to . . .

2. THE SCIENCE-FICTION-TOLOGISTS HQ

3. PARADE REST
Nevermind the rectangle around the big pointy building, just walk up Columbus from the SciFi storefront ‘an you’ll get to a real bookstore where you can get real pulp fiction. Anyway. Rest for 5min. Then up COLUMBUS some more to . . .

4. WASHINGTION SQ PARK for the FCLL’s MINI-SERVICE (check your own oil)
A stage and sound system have at great expense been set up for the afternoons entertainment and enlightenment. The 2 min talent show, sing alongs, sermints and lectures, the 2nd dues collection and of course the TRADITIONAL FREE LUNCH will be offered up and out to the assembled flock. In lieu of the SOCK EXCHANGE ritual held during the weekday parade a SOCK FIGHT will be tolerated. In event of RAIN, even if this is in the bay area, an’ then the grass in the park turns into a bog, the parade will take place but go to JOE DIMAGGIO PLAYGROUND 2 blks farther up COLUMBUS AVE. The CHURCH STORE will be open for CASH ONLY transactions.
